Who has ever been to New York?

What have you felt when you have been there?

Isn't it overwhelming...

I have been there once. About a month ago.  

I was feeling like going somewhere and I didn't really know when I was going but I new that I really wanted it. 

New York was my first choice. It's buildings, it's popularity... and even as far as I didn't know yet: it's magic.

What an amazing City. 

Thousands of Millions of peoples making their lifes. Walking by feeling absorbed  by the flow of their own rhythm but sharing it though at every step taken. Going to work, shopping, making money out of the rules that rule their worlds or just enjoying their time. Banks, smokes, and againg buildings... And that murmuring that becomes harmoniously mixed with the honks and other sounds of Manhatthan's traffic live...

Because at the end that's what a city represents really. Hectic and somehow caotic life style that involves you to get along with it.  

That's the sound of the city. But there is a particular sound for Manhattan...

What really surprised me at first was the fact that almost everybody I had the chance to talk to would speak some spanish, or at least would try it successfully. But among that, you would find information in almost any source you searched through or read from in about every language.  

That made me feel so confortable. I felt welcome.

So there I was. Loving it. The peoples, the sounds... I somehow became a part of it. 

So, what do I think is magical about New York?

Well, find yourself surrounded by music, cultural places, concerts, books and information of all kinds and you will almost be there.  Picture people from all over the world beeing part of it and forget about the time to judge them. 

To me Manhattan could represent somehow what the world is about. After all, cities are made just the way we want them to be and it is human who desing what a city should look like after 'we' find out what our needs are in order to satisfy them.
